Overview

DexScanr is a Chrome extension that scans smart contracts on DexScreener for safety risks in real-time. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

Data Collection

• We do NOT collect any personal data.
• We do NOT track your browsing history.
• We do NOT store any wallet addresses.
• We do NOT share any data with third parties.

What The Extension Does

• Reads the current DexScreener page URL to detect the blockchain being viewed.
• Sends smart contract addresses to our backend API server for safety analysis.
• Caches scan results locally on your device only to improve performance.

Local Storage

Scan results are cached locally in your browser using Chrome’s storage API. This data never leaves your device and is only used to avoid duplicate API calls.

Third Party APIs

The extension communicates with:

• DexScreener API (dexscreener.com) — for token pair data.
• DexScanr Backend API (dex-api-production.up.railway.app) — our own server which performs full on-chain safety analysis including contract source code verification and sell simulation.

No personal data is sent to any API — only public blockchain contract addresses.
